M & J Technologies is a relatively new company, incorporated as a private limited company in Thailand December 2004. SInce its incorporation, its growth and development has been prolific.
The original factory facility was completed in March 2005, with the initial volume 2.5" external hard disk drive (EHDD) build started in the same month. By June of the same year, the 3.5" EHDD build started. Product builds followed at a quick pace:
- 1” EHDD launched December 2005
- New low cost 3.5 “ EHDD launched and Qualed January 2006
- Premium 3.5” EHDD debuted April 2006
- Small Form Factor 2.5” EHDD launched July 2006
- EMI Test facility completed December 2007
- Became part of MAP Technologies July 2007
- Shipped 20 million EHDD’s July 2008
- Power Generation manufacturing launched September 2008
- LCD TV/Monitor manufacturing launched October 2008
Factory Expansion & Upgrade
Expansion in capacity and technological upgrades have followed at a similar pace to product launched. M&J was pleased to debut its in house Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line in January 2007.
Factory facilities were further enlarged in March 2007 with a plant relocation and expansion of SMT capacity. The dynamic pace of change heralds an exciting time for M&J, with the current value of company in the region of USD10 million.
